Clementina Maione
Principal Solicitor

Clementina is a dedicated and compassionate family lawyer with nearly 20 years’ experience practising in all aspects of family law, specialising in complex divorce and property matters, and children’s issues. Her approach is client-centric, and she invests the time to understand each client’s unique situation and goals. Clementina is known for her ability to navigate complex legal matters while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanour, even in the most difficult circumstances. She believes that effective legal representation goes beyond legal expertise; it requires a deep connection to clients’ personal stories, strategic thinking and devising pragmatic solutions that prioritise the overall well-being of her client, beyond their legal needs.  Clementina’s negotiation skills and mediation techniques often lead to amicable settlements, reducing the emotional toll on families. She is highly competent in articulating her client’s thoughts and will argue persuasively if the matter is a contentious one.  

Drawing on her skills and extensive experience, Clementina actively “gives back” to the community and her profession via being involved in community outreach and educational initiatives, and providing workshops and resources to help families navigate the legal system with confidence. Clementina is passionate about mentoring young lawyers and law students, and believes that mentorship is crucial in fostering a supportive environment within the legal profession. This nurturing spirit inspires young lawyers to build confidence and develop their own unique style within this challenging area of law. 

Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University and earning a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Dispute Resolution and Family Law from the College of Law, Clementina is well-respected within the legal profession by her colleagues and clients alike.  

Beyond her professional career, Clementina enjoys learning about her Italian background and culture and volunteering with many organisations which uphold her heritage.
