Evelyn is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Property & Development team and is experienced in advising clients on all property-related matters. Her prior experience includes serving as a state manager and head lawyer at a national conveyancing firm, playing a key role in establishing the business as a start-up and managing successful conveyancing practices across three states (VIC, NSW and TAS).
Evelyn represents clients ranging from charitable organisations, through to private individuals and SMEs. Her expertise encompasses the following areas:
- Sales and purchases of residential, commercial, industrial and off-the plan properties.
- Acting for SME developers on off-the-plan developments and subdivision.
- Property due diligence, stamp duty advice and contract negotiations.
- Commercial and retail leases and licence matters for both landlords and tenants.
- Advice regarding easements, subdivisions and owners’ corporation matters.
- Sales and acquisitions of businesses.
- Property transfers such as related party and spousal transfers, change of trustees, transfers to beneficiaries in accordance with Court Orders for family law and estate matters.
- Loan agreements and mortgages for private lenders.
- Solicitors certificates and guarantees.
- General property matters.
