Jennifer Huppert Special Counsel

Jennifer has nearly 30 years’ experience in providing advice to property owners, developers and occupiers, having been admitted to practice in 1986.

Jennifer has extensive experience providing advice to both landlords and tenants in relation to complex commercial and industrial leases, as well as retail leasing obligations and disputes.

Jennifer has also acted for institutional clients, private companies and not-for-profits in relation to sales and acquisitions, and complex arrangements for commercial, retail and mixed use developments. Having acted for statutory authorities and local governments, Jennifer is able to provide practical advice in relation to easements, covenants and roads.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University, and a Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Melbourne.

Jennifer was appointed to the Board of the Victorian Equal Opportunities and Human Rights Commission in October 2016. She was a member of the Legislative Council of the Parliament of Victoria from February 2009 until November 2010, and is currently President of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria. Between July 2006 and February 2009 Jennifer served as a director of the Emergency Services and State Superannuation Board.
