Liana joined KHQ in 2025 as a Lawyer in the Workplace Relations & Safety team. She holds a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Criminology and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in May 2024. Liana undertook a portion of her studies abroad at the University of Graz in Austria. Towards the end of her studies, she worked as a Paralegal, gaining experience in migration law and then began practicing as a lawyer in both migration and employment law.
Liana is passionate about workplace relations and is committed to building strong relationships with her clients. She provides practical legal advice in relation to compliance, employee disputes and workplace policies and has a particular focus on working closely with businesses to navigate complex workplace issues while mitigating potential risks.
Liana has particular experience in:
- providing businesses with advice regarding employee entitlements under the Fair Work Act
- analysing employee role classifications under Modern Awards
- providing businesses with advice in relation to preventing employee-related claims for unfair dismissal, general protections, and discrimination, and
- managing business compliance under relevant legislative instruments.
When not working, Liana enjoys travelling, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family and friends.
