Mark graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws degree and Bachelor of Economics degree (major in accounting). He also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He became a commercial barrister at 24 years of age and practised primarily in commercial law.
Mark has been exposed to many areas of law but specialises in commercial transactions and with a special focus on construction contracts. He has negotiated contracts on many of the bigger civil construction projects in Melbourne over the last ten years.
In a stint in business, Mark was general manager of a publicly listed investment company and worked in the United States for two years. Mark also assists and mentors businesses with process and change for growth within the organization.
He has a commercial background and believes that good legal advice should manage the risk of the client while at the same time meeting its commercial objectives.
