Nicholas Wookey Lawyer

Nick is a lawyer in our Tax & Structuring team. Nick provides advice and assists clients with a broad range of private wealth, tax and related commercial law matters, including, taxation disputes, income tax, CGT, stamp duty, structuring and asset protection, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures and property matters.

Nick has degrees in both Law (Honours) and Commerce (Finance) from Monash University and spent part of his studies in Italy. Nick was also selected to undertake a Harvard-based negotiation and conflict resolution unit, for which he received the County Court of Victoria Prize for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution in 2020.

With a background in negotiation, commercial and health law, Nick has gained some broad experience in corporate, commercial and health law work for commercial, government, and not-for-profit clients. He has also worked alongside a Melbourne-based international and local arbitrator and mediator, which gave him an insight into the commercial drivers and interests of various private and commercial parties.

In his spare time, Nick races go-karts competitively, is a keen traveller and enjoys all things outdoors including snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing and off-roading.
