Stevie is a lawyer in the Commercial Property & Development team. Stevie has practiced in property and commercial law since her admission to the profession in 2016.
Stevie has always had a keen interest in property herself and enjoys the transactional process of property law. She prides herself on her personable and pragmatic approach which enables her to establish and maintain rapport with clients and stakeholders while offering sound and practical legal solutions tailored to her clients’ specific needs.
Stevie’s experience in property and commercial matters, spanning across a wide range of sectors, includes:
- advising, drafting and negotiating on contracts for commercial property acquisitions and sales including commercial office buildings, childcare centres, retail and industrial premises
- advising, drafting and negotiating on commercial leases (including retail) for a wide array of commercial landlords and tenants – from those entering the leasing market for the first time to large national companies acquiring premises as both a landlord and a tenant
- acting for clients in the childcare industry with portfolios of childcare businesses and assets in excess of $20 million, including advising and negotiating on transactions and compliance relating to their existing childcare businesses and freehold sites as well as new acquisitions and sales, and
- conducting due diligence and advising on the property/leasing issues in a transaction involving the aggregation of over 30 businesses in the health services industry.
Stevie holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Bond University.
