Emotional intelligence: some say it’s the most important ingredient in achieving success in life, but what really is emotional intelligence and can it be acquired?

- Amy Antcliffe – Clinical Psychologist Headspace and The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health: Amy has a Master of Clinical Psychology and has provided mental health services geared towards early intervention for young people aged 12-25 and their families. In addition, she works in public mental health where she manages clients with severe and complex psychiatric illnesses.
- Adam Williams – Director Human Resources & Communications, CSL Behring: Adam is responsible for managing the Human Resources function at CSL Behring Australia, supporting the Senior Leadership team and aligning the region to global HR and business initiatives. Prior to that he held HR roles with Visy, Mondelez and Jetstar. Adam has a BCcom, HR and Management from the University of Tasmania.
- Monica Blizzard – Accredited Family Law Specialist and Principal at KHQ Lawyers: With almost 20 years of experience in family law, Monica Blizzard is a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer. As a practitioner, Monica has great empathy for her clients and is determined to achieve the best outcome, tailored to their specific needs.
- Vincent Peile – Community Relations Adviser and Counsellor, Invocare Australia Pty Ltd: Vincent is often called in to assist and diffuse situations when emotions are raw. Vincent has been a counsellor (and before that, a Priest) for over 25 years. He assists individuals, families and workplaces who are dealing with loss and grief to find harmony and unity.
