Bridget is a lawyer in the Workplace Relations & Safety team, having joined the team after completing KHQ’s graduate program.
Bridget is people-oriented, and enjoys building collegiate relationships with clients. She has a particular interest in assisting businesses and HR professionals with general employment law issues, including in relation to:
- compliance with employer duties and obligations such as ‘Respect@Work’ obligations and compliance with the positive duty under the Sex Discrimination Act
- managing claims in the Australian Human Rights Commission and Federal Court of Australia including discrimination and harassment matters;
- managing employment-related claims including unfair dismissal, general protections, and other breaches of the Fair Work Act
- managing flexible work requests, underperformance, absence, illness or injury concerns; and
- managing employee entitlements
Bridget holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Management), a Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
Outside of work, Bridget loves to exercise, travel and spend time with family and friends.
