Isabel Britten-Jones Lawyer

Isabel is a lawyer in our Family & Relationship Law team, and holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (English) from the University of Adelaide. She was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2017.

Prior to her admission, Isabel pursued her interest in international law and worked for the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Tribunal in the Office of the Co-Prosecutor in Cambodia. She also worked for the International Organization for Migration in Cambodia.

Since her admission, Isabel has worked solely in family law. She is experienced in all aspects of family law, including complex property settlements, financial agreements, children’s matters, international relocation, child support agreements, Independent Children’s Lawyer matters and divorce. In particular, Isabel is interested in children’s rights and international family law matters. Isabel is empathetic and takes pride in providing our clients with efficient and practical advice.

Isabel volunteers regularly at the Fitzroy Legal Service LGBTIQ Family Law Clinic and is a member of the Victorian Women Lawyers’ Justice Committee and the Law Institute of Victoria.
