Sophie is a lawyer in our Construction & Infrastructure team.
Prior to joining KHQ, Sophie worked in New Zealand as a back-end construction lawyer advising clients in the private and public sector on construction disputes. Sophie also has experience in property insurance litigation.
Sophie has a particular interest in:
- defective works claims
- security of payment legislation, and
- contractual disputes.
Sophie graduated from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. Sophie was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in March 2022 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in June 2024.
When not working, Sophie enjoys playing futsal, soccer and travelling.
