Breakfast Seminar (25 August 2016) – an OHS Accident has happened in your workplace – what should I do next?!

The KHQ Workplace Relations team invite you to attend a free breakfast seminar on 25 August 2016, on what you should do in the event of an OHS accident in your workplace.

The Victorian OHS Act and the Uniform WHS Act impose strict requirements on the reporting of certain incidents, so what you do next is not only important from a compliance perspective, but also can have an immediate and significant impact on your business going forward.

In particular, we will be focusing on:

  • Your reporting obligations
  • Dealing with WorkSafe
  • Critical issues and lessons from recent OHS prosecution cases; and
  • Practical tips and tricks to navigate the best way through.

We will also be joined by leading Victorian OHS Barrister, Robert Taylor, who will also speak on his perspectives in dealing with these issues.

Details for the seminar are:

When: Thursday 25 August 2016, 7.30 am for breakfast – 9.00am finish.

Where: KHQ Lawyers, Level 15, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne. RACV Club, Level 2, 501 Bourke Street, Melbourne.

RSVP: To Jonah on 03 8681 4018 or by email jestaniel@khq.com.au.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to seeing you!

Cheers,
Chris, Claire and the team.
