Sanela Osmanovic Senior Associate

Sanela is a Senior Associate in the superannuation and financial services team, and has a broad range of experience working with a range of superannuation fund trustees, superannuation administrators, general insurers and not-for-profit organisations.

In relation to superannuation specifically, Sanela advises trustees on their obligations under the licensing and disclosure provisions of the Corporations Act, as well as superannuation law generally. She also assists in relation to litigated matters involving superannuation funds, including preparation of court documents and advice.

Sanela regularly advises clients in relation to:

  • successor fund transfers
  • group insurance arrangements
  • matters involving the regulators such as breach reporting and relief applications
  • corporate governance
  • privacy law, and
  • anti-money laundering compliance.

Sanela is the chair of the ASFA Legislation Discussion Group for Victoria and holds a Diploma of Superannuation in addition to her law qualifications.
